Hi,
Can anybody tell me what colour a Bosch VJR 4 BR 8 distributor body should be; is it black or unpainted? It's from a '57 30hp engine.

Hi Andy,
Im pretty sure they were painted black. I have three and they all have black paint on the body.

I have a NOS one and a few on cars and old engines, all in satin black.

It's hard to say what my girlfriend does for a living...

...She sells sea shells on the sea shore!
