Slight change of direction I know, but why are some names on the register black while the others are greyscale ?

As far as I know, the three main hotels in Lavenham are now fully booked. The Swan did have a four-poster room @ £235 a night though when I last phoned around. You should be able to find a B&B or you could try Sudbury, Claire or Long Melford which are very close (7km) and full of hotels and guest houses. There's also Bury St. Edmonds (17km)

If you still don't have any luck, let me know What dates you want etc. and I'll see what I can find for you.

Wow I bet you are getting a bit stressed about now, but you look almost there!
I think it is almost more exciting when its someone else's car as there is no panic involved. I am gazing in my crystal ball and, I see a few late nights on the horizon..

It looks super, you must be feeling good.

So, just that slowcoach Chris left now..

Looks absolutely great and black is so stylish! It will be nice to see the 'father' of this vintage VW forum arrive with his own piece of motor history for the first time!
'Bon courage' for the last bits to do! :d

I'm sorry to say that it's not going to be there, just too much to do and not enough time to get it all done. On the plus side though, I have a very cool loaner - a blue two seater
