It did get a lot funnier than this...I added a straw hat and oval sunglasses to the matching jacket, trousers and blue cravat. Look quite dapper don't I :d ...seeing as my normal attire is shorts and T shirt.

In fact we had a '55 speedster parked on each side of us, not often that happens! :shock: I just realised we were 3 '55's in a row! :d

Its finally growing on us too now it has its lovely new nos 356 engine (bloody lucky we already had this kicking about!) & new floors, tyres + more :shock: And lots more small jobs still to do. But now it does drive like a dream :d It has certainly been an 'experience' buying our first car ever out of USA (quote the seller) "that was perfect and needed for nothing" :!: :shock: I think we will be sticking with Europe in future :beer: :lol:
