Just thought I'd post a few pictures of the work thats been done so far.

Initial picture of the chassis/ floor pans.
Majority of pans were in great shape, but wanted to save as much of the original for correct pressings.
As you can see all work now completed on there, now being fitted up by Andy (the owner).

That's some damned nice stuff going on, there. It makes such a lovely change to see proper welding and repair work being carried out, rather than the rubbish many people seem to be proud enough of to plaster all over the internet...

Got any more of those Aussie channels knocking about? I'm guessing not! 🙂

I'm in the middle of restoring a'57 as well and was wondering if i could trouble you for a measurement?

It's on the outside of of the rear cross member......

the bit that sticks out on the very end, which forms the end of the wing mounting. I just need to know how far it sticks out?
