Hopefully 2009 will see the start of the light resto of my '53 and I've given the car a quick once-over with respect to the wing bolts and they all appear to have 14mm heads......
Now, given that it is almost inevitable that a few will shear off when removed,my question is whether there are any sources of either second-hand or new bolts of this type in Europe?
Have had a quick look over on The Samba but couldn't find much apart from a thread about Kamax sabre rattling about supposed reproductions of their products, and a supplier in Argentina....a bit far to go in my opinion for a few bolts (if they supply them still that is....)
What have folks on here done about these bolts? Would be very grateful for any pointers.....
