Anyone know if they use the paper seals?

Dont remember taking any off (it was 6 months ago) but feel they should be used..

Do they use em? one or 2?

I've now found an exploded diagram in one of my many reference books... for early cars it shows no paper gasket...

I'll stick it all back together then! :d

Use some sort of liquid gasket on both sides of the backingplate, otherwise it will probably leake.
