There used to be a Bosch Specialist near where I live in Worthing who (amongst other things) reconditioned Bosch starting motors and dynamos. I took a dynamo to him once and it came back with a new lease of life, not only that but it looked all shiny and new too!:d

Unfortunately the business has closed now :cry: and I am in need of getting my 6v dynamo refurbished prior to fitting it to my newly rebuilt engine.

Does any one know of where I could send it or take it for a refurb?

Hi,

A close friend has refurbished 6V generators in stock !
Starting from 47 till 58 also a few 12 V generators that would fit a splitwindow !( I'm not sure but I think these where used on porsche 356)
Let me know what you need and I'll ask him if available and the prices !

I'm probably going to get Peter Good to rebuild mine. He's got a lot on at the moment but I have a spare starter and dynamo so will put those on the car for now and get the originals rebuilt in due course.
