Hi everyone. I have fitted a 1600 twinport to my 1959 beetle. It ran ok until there was oil coming out of the fuel pump. I have fitted a new one and the same thing has happened. The engine has an alternator and I have the correct 100mm pushrod. I have re-used the same pushrod but I can't see why this would cause this problem. The oil is coming from lower part of the top section where the pipe pumps fuel to the carb, if that makes sense. Any ideas why this should happen twice. :?
