First of all I congratulate the Grundmann's and their team for that magnificent meeting!
We (Guido, his wife and me ET) left on Monday afternoon!
We could not leave on sunday because we had such a good time over the weekend
so we decided to go home a day later and enjoy one more day.
So no
"cold turkey" for us!
Now that we are talking about
"turkey", such a little bird told me
that Yan Rami's heb broke down on the way home
so the possibility excists that there is going to come
a Hebmuller up for sale in England!!!
Or Yan has to buy a new engine!
But speaking of breaking down, when Guido turned up the motorway
an alarm in his car went
and said to close the engine immediatly because the Audi engine was to warm
and loosing all the cooling fluid!
I know that shit happens!
After waiting an hour we were picked up by a sort of ADAC (Touring assistance)!
Than brought to garage (Audi, trailer and split window)
to see that we weren't the only Belgians who broke down!
On the parking lot of that garage was also a standing a (I think a 1964)
genuine Mach 1 beetle!
(Isn't that something typical Belgian with an Okrasa engine?)
During the repairs of our "tow truck" (read Audi)
we managed to find a nice restaurant so atleast we could eat and drink!
After doing the dishes (we had no money nomore to pay for the food)
we could go back to pick up the car and go home!
Driving, driving and driving you think? Yes but only till the border of Germany and Holland because the border was closed!!!
Only God knowes why!!!
Luckely the GPS of Guido's car guided us along all places of interest!
But it was totally dark so we did not see much of the sights!!!
Around midnight I could open a few cannisters of ice and ice cold "Hoegaarden"
and after finishing those Belgian quality beers I could go to bed
and have sweet dreams over the passed weekend!
 ET
Sorry Yan I could not resist!!!
