Hi Guys,

We were doing some work on the engine of my 1967 beetle today and noticed that the dynamo pulley was sitting forward of the dynamo and out of alignment with the lower crankshaft pulley.
We removed the pulley and to our horror the centre sheered off in our hand!! There is a vw stamp inside the pulley and we have heard of this thing happening with inferior parts. It is likely that the car has been driven for long time with the pulley in this position!

Does anyone know of any top quality replacement pulley - not a cheap aftermarket one!
Are there different pulleys for my dynamo (it is 12V) or does one pulley "fit all"?
Appreciate your help as this is a daily driver!

Cheers
