I noticed this weekend that the pre-heat pipe on my '53 only intake manifold is starting to develop a hole :(

Obviously there is zarwerks in the US, but I wondered if anyone in the UK did a similar restoration service?

why not do it yourself?

ive just done mine.

clear out the carbon in the tubes using some 3mm braided wire from B&Q in a drill.

if you cant get past the bend in the pipe, cut a slot at the bend and then use the wire.

after youve finished, just weld the hole up, and send it to the powdercoaters!

I know John Henry (zarwerks) has some good pictures of the restoration process, but if you didn't want to do it yourself i can recommend him as a really good guy, very helpful and genuine :thumbup:
