any ideas?

i'm slowly turning my 66 back to stock!!!??

but am struggling to find good 2nd hand 66-67 only caps??

am also after a good unwelded rhd ball joint beam??

Tom,

there were 66 only hubcaps, and 67 only hubcaps.

your car being a 66, and 5 lug wheels, you need the 66 only ones!

i always thought 1300 models had the same caps?

but 67 1500 models were like late caps, but with a 'nipple'?

nope, 65 where domed, 66 were flat but had a funny internal lip to fit under the hub of the wheel, and 67 were also flat but fitted over lugs on the hub.

66 was a 5 lug wheel and 67 were a 4 lug wheel- i know my 66's and 67's, as i have both :wink:

Have you tried karman konnection or heritage?

they are not being repro'd as far as i know?

rob, 67 1200's and 1300's were also wide 5.

only the 1500 (like yours) were 4 lug.

Type 3s used that hubcap as well so you could try type 3 detectives .Did you try Status vw? The link I posted says they are special order .i have one good one for sale if your interested.
