Thank you Christian and rob for posting these picts.

Rob , can you send them to my homeadress please? 😃

Christian, It seems that white was not the original color ? any idea what it was?
The car seems very original (except paint) But the seat fabric looks like Police green .....could it be an officers car?
That whould be nice... A police squad with a 14a in front and folowed by several 18A cars.
Rob , a new idea to make a second pursuit movie.. 😛

Hi Peter,
what we know is that the car was black/white
There is not much welding on the car to be done - what we see are the heater channel, one door and at the back bumper holder - that is it.
Most of the wires are the orginal.
Bye Christian
PS : My friend does not want to sell the car
PSS: Peter you are right - most of the car is orginal - even my farther who had more then 10 Hebs said that he did not see many Hebs that were so orginal and in good shape unrestaured like this car.

Thanks christian

I tought that it was not for sale....
Due to the picts I know more accurate when some changes were made in the bodywork of a Heb...
If you check your mailbox I am sure you know what item it is... think at a welded nut.

Can you ask your father what cars he owned in the past..any info is welcome. I know for sure 2 cars but want to find out more.
😎

Christian,

Can you ask your friend to send me his addresse !
I found what he was looking for 🙂 , I thought I sold it last year  but it was still in my garage
I found it while I was searching after a hornbutton, that hornbutton is still
lost, but I'm sure I'll find it again if I'm searching for a other part
Please send me also your phone number, I need some advice from you !
Thanks in advance !!

Christian, would have thought you would have had it finished by now,
What a great looking project, from my untrained eye, it looks like it is nearly all there and in good shape

It's great to know cars like this still turn up.
And I'm glad they find good hands.

'Badge chat' I like that a lot

Hi!
You found a very beautiful Heb !
I have the Heb just next from you , #316...with chassis number 1-0126988 ( you have 1-0133111) and my original engine number ( I have the original engine as well) is 1-0157959 ( yours is 1-0164199)
Do you have the Aufbau-nr? Mine is 19232 built on dec 13 1949.
Very strange to find a number before mine (315) with serial numbers later than mine ...
Welcome to the Heb's world!

Hi, I thought #316 was in North Carolina? Would it be possible for you to email me directly so I can keep my records up to date (and an up to date photo wouldn't hurt either  )
