I'm trying to find a source for the part which goes on the small end of the mirror shaft . It hold the shaft and the cone nut together. Hope someone can help.

To the best of my knowlege you cannot get just that part. Usually you just have to replace the entire mirror. Let's see what everyone else thinks about this.

If anyone would have that part they would. If they don’t have the part they would most likely have a used mirror you can take the part from.
