ive bought a new 6v battery from status and all the instructions are in german

my question is the battery is empty of fluid at the moment,is it just a case of adding distilled water or does it need battery acid as well

ive searched high and low for this today on net and wish i hadnt bothered and got a already filled new type

You need to get it filled with battery acid.
You'll have to take it to car spares/battery supplier.
Lincoln batteries are near Southend i think,anywhere near you?

all i could find on net was a note saying 65pc water and 35pc acid so i did something like that...
