I could be wrong but i thourght that the contract to design the Schwimmwagen was given on the 1st July 1940. It was at the end of 1942 that Schwimms were being shipped out to fighting units. 1939 ?????????????? its like the time i was offerd a genuine signiture of Adolf the only thing was it was in Ball point :omg:
