Hi, I'm looking for a bar who's in the chassistunnel and goes from the handbrake to the front of the chassis where the 4 cables are holded on the cable brake pushbar (for the feetbrake).
Does anybody have a picture of that and if anybody has this part or parts, let me know.

I have a few bits for cable brakes, including the push bar from the handbrake if you are still looking. It is from a slightly later car (not sure of the excat year) bus so far as I am aware it is the same.

Hi, wow. Yes i still need it. Email me [email protected] or call me 07796160244 (may not hear it i often use loud machineary) so txt may be better.

Im near colchester in essex, dont think you are too far from me? Let me know what you want for this item, and i'll shoot over and get it.

also could do with pedal assembly (i do know where the original one is for my chassis, but the chap often works away for months at a time, so i cant really wait for him) its a large roller pedal unit i need.

I now have all the hubs back plates and cabels!!

kind regards lee

I now have all brake parts except the handbrake rod!!

Ive just bought another near complete cabel brake system, (dont ask i now have enough parts for nearly 3 cars!) offered him £100 and this was his reply:

Hi Lee

It is probably not often that you hear this. I am an enthusiast and I love what you are doing to the 49, so I would actually be happy with £75 for the lot (it is the figure I had in mind and I am not after profit, just covering my own outlay) so if that suits you, I will bring it all to Stanford Hall and arrange to meet with you there.

Now that is not something that happens every day, if your (the seller)reading this then thankyou again.

Thats very cool, satisfying to know there are still enthusiasts out there not trying to cash in at every opportunity. 😃

What a nice bloke, i was going to say there is someone on the samba who has a standard (but later) in Sweeden, he said if it didn't sell it was going to be broken, Think it's a 59.
