Just found this link. I will contact Bville Tom from the National 36HP Land Speed Challenge and ask him to post his 2007 1/4 mile times from this past fall in Iowa. He also ran a top speed of 91.649 miles per hour in the standing mile with a dual carb 36HP motor featuring his Bruchrasa single port 36 heads.

I have had a chat with Paul "Botch" Venners (The voice of Santa Pod, here in the UK).

He seemed pretty interested if i got some standard and hot 1200cc engines together at a VW meet. Already have a twin carb set up on a 30hp, my Okrasa, and standard 30hp and 34hp cars. Just need some other people.

I know asking here is like pulling teeth as most people will not attend VW shows at the Pod for obvious reasons.

Was going to speak to Paul Knight see if his magazine could pull some strings at the Pod re getting the £20 RWYB fees dropped, as it is more of an exibition etc, and i only really want to do 1 run.
