Buy it!! Saw her live a little while back, fantastic. Although I'm a bit biased because her husband and guitarist is an old school friend. :wink:

I think it is interesting that of the 3 earliest beetles in the show ( I am assuming as I was'nt there) :

50, 51 & 53, all of them are Swedish, and all are tintops that have had golde sunroofs let in. Also the beige split that was parked outside is a Swedish car too!

What made you think it wasn't original? i'd be interested to know.

I know what you meen about cars coming from Sweeden, it did make me think twice about buying it.

I think that Luke Theochari really is a superb guy, that car is giving so much enjoyment to so many kids in his ownership :d

I am surprised that Lego dont make a more wing shaped lego brick these days, they seem to push out every shape now that makes lego modelling far too easy. I remember when it was all fields and lego only came in basic brick shapes, we used to consider the tiny single block special back then. Then space lego arrived and it was clear that life would never be the same again :shock: the new uber cool 'coloured transparent bits' and dont even mention the excitement of the first appearance of the axle block & rubber tyres that my little brother loved to eat!!! :shock: :lol:

That pic of the Amoses is great! (Is that the correct plural for an 'Amos?')

Anna- The rubber tyres in lego sets were always the tastiest parts. I can vouch for your brother's taste in potentially poisonous plastic paraphernalia.
