2900kms? According to www.theaa.com it's about 2300kms each way. But I admire your sense of adventure & I do believe that you'll make it! I hope you have a fantastic journey & I will make a point of coming over to say hello to you at the show

Hi, Last time we had just over 100 stock pre-67 VWs plus a VW only parking area which was full as well.
This time, with a little re-arranging we should have space for around 200 plus a large VW only parking area again.

More details to follow soon when the registration opens.
(at the end of January with any luck!)

Pipvan, I see you live in Cumbria-If you are going to the show I presume you'll be driving down the M6? As we will be heading down that way ourselves we could organise a mini-convoy...

There's no 'concours' at the show, its open to daily drivers and full on restorations alike. The most important thing is that you bring your car, join in and have fun.

There are people who will pick fault with any car, the trick is to ignore those and only listen to the people telling you exactly what you want to hear

There are several of us travelling up from Sussex, which could conceivably be on the way to Lavenham from Portsmouth or Southampton. We're probbably going to form a mini convoy, though details aren't firm yet.

If we do, and the timing works, you'd be welcome to join us. I live in Worthing, very close to the A27, so it would be easy to meet up as the A27 is as good a route as any if you're heading East to Suffolk from Portsmouth or Southampton.
