Hi havnt posted since january now since 49 went.

Anyway i was clearing out my gararge last week and came across a set of Brake cables from my old 1949 beetle.

obviously these should have gone with the car, but in the panic and tears of loading it all up (i delievered it to him) the bag of cables must have got burried in the 'crap'

Anyway if any of you know the guy who bought my 49, please tell him i have some cables for him, as i do not have his adress or number anymore.

if i dont hear anything then they will be free to who ever wants them!

(either a full set or the front 2 cables- i havnt checked. in full greased working order, early ones with the grease nipples as well 😃 )

Hi Lee,

If you don't trace the new owner I would be interested in them for my standard.

Cheers

If for some stage reason you get no takers I'd like them, I need front cables for my 49.

if ur reading this ive not found the man with my 49 so the parts are defo urs!

they are the 2 front cables, in very good condition also the type with the grease nipple which i think is quite rare?

you may be happy to also know in the bag i found the brake switch, the one which screws to the frame head and is activated buy the brake push rod. you can have this as well.
and one rear cable. so chances are the 4th is around somewhere

anyway have sent u an email with pice to be double sure. speak with u soon mate
