Have been having a play with the engine to see if it will run.
New oil and filter, petrol pipes, disi cap, rotor arm, points and plugs.
Replaced the fuel tank and fuel added for good measure.
Put a new battery on, cranked over to get oil pressure, re-fitted the spark plugs and away she went ! :d
Engine runs sweet, not sure when it last run but some time around 87 from the battery code.
Have driven it in and out the garage to try the gearbox, brakes etc, seems OK. Brakes need looking at to get it back on the road.

Have ordered all the brake parts, so thats the next job on the list.
With the way split prices are going up even Stu will be saying this car is cheap in another few months !
