I think if it were mine, I'd give it a lot longer to try and find some garage space before deciding to pass it on. I'd enjoy it over the summer, visit some shows and then store it over the winter when the weather turns.
There's nothing wrong with trying to make the best of a bad situation such as having to sell a car you would prefer to keep if you could. At least it hasn't been lowered and modified before changing hand again.
I know it's different but plenty of people on here, me included, fund some of their VW activities by buying and selling bits and pieces and we all love a bargain even if it's something we don't really need!
